About the role

You would build the platform behind tracking, attribution and fraud prevention: the systems that decide whether a conversion counted and whether it was real. It is the part of the product where being approximately right is the same as being wrong.

What you'll do

• Build and run the services behind tracking, attribution and payouts.
• Design for correctness first — a miscounted conversion is money.
• Work on fraud detection with the people who see the traffic every day.
• Own what you ship in production, including the pager.

What we're looking for

• Several years building backend services that handle real traffic.
• Strong on data modelling and the failure modes of distributed systems.
• Comfortable with the operational side: monitoring, incidents, capacity.
• Experience with attribution, payments or anti-fraud is an advantage.
